Our guides make every castle tour an exciting experience. The history of the Aggstein castle ruin extends back to the 12th century. Some of its past owners played an important role in the Danube region. Many of them used their power for personal enrichment. Their misdeeds and the eventful history of the castle still form part of legends and tales relating to Aggstein today!

Discover the castle on your own with our individually available audio tours for children and adults. In an entertaining way, you will learn all the information you need to know about the castle ruin and its previous inhabitants.
The children’s version is particularly suitable for 5–12-year-olds and is designed in a very exciting, funny and yet also educational way.
The duration of the audio is only approx. 35 minutes.
Tours are available in German and English.
It is also possible to reserve audio guides for groups.
