Siegfried Reiterer and his team look forward to spoiling you with culinary delights at the castle.
Individual guests are always welcome to enjoy Á-la-carte dining in the tavern or in the cosy castle courtyard – reservations are only available for groups of 15 people or more.
In March, April and October 2026, the tavern is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Groups are welcome on these days by prior reservation.
Hot meals are served from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
High chairs are available. Dogs are welcome in the tavern and the castle courtyard.
We would be happy to prepare a special menu for your birthday, wedding or company party!

At the Knight’s Banquet, a feast awaits you just as it was once served to noble knights and their loyal retinue. The castle host presents hearty dishes and savoury delicacies from the castle kitchen, richly seasoned and prepared according to ancient tradition.
In convivial company, guests dine, laugh and raise their cups, while the medieval atmosphere of the castle transports them to times long past.
An experience for groups that not only satisfies the appetite, but also delights the senses and lingers long in the memory.

We offer snacks, drinks and coffee in our shop in front of the castle to all hikers who just pass the ruins of Aggstein and don't want to visit the castle this time - a remedy for a little hunger!
Opening hours: The tavern and the castle café are open all day during the opening hours of the castle ruins!
